stop trying to act smart!
i simply HATE it when people start acting smart around me! >.<
ok, its alright if someone is really smart, and shows it in a friendly way. afterall, it doesnt hurts a bit to share ur knowledge. but on the otherhand, if the someone just have a limited amount of knowledge, please stop acting like an expert.
its like this friend (ok, i don really consider her a real friend) i met sometime ago...firstly, she accompanied me for a trip to the supermarket as i needed to get some fresh food for lucky. and just because she had kept 3 dogs previously, she advised me that i shouldnt feed potatoes (or any other green veggies) to dogs, since her vet mentioned that veggies have worms in them. -_- when i asked her why we humans didnt get the worms when we eat tons of veggies everyday, she replied that the human system is different from the dog's.
for one, i've been feeding veggies to lucky for such a LONG time, i haven seen a single worm on him. furthermore, it made him stronger to attacks on bugs. and second, dog's digestive system is almost similar to the human's. -_-
then, she mentioned about wanting to get a chihuahua as a pet and out of kindness, i offered her help in finding a chihuahua breeder. friend declined my help and of course i didnt pursued further.
then we went on to talking bout chihuahua. when asked what typed of color or coat she's looking for, she said she wanted a wire-haired chh... so there i was, sitting there confused, since from what i know, there wasnt any wire-haired chh, but short-coat and long-coat, yes. afraid that she may get cheated, i voiced out my concerned. but friend insisted that wiry chh do exist and she has seen it before. afterall, there are wired-haired dachshuad, fox terriers and jrt. since my knowledge on chh isnt extensive, i kept quiet.
and when i went home to google on wiry chh, there was none to be found! and yes i'm absolutely sure this doesnt exist, and what she see probably saw was a chh X jrt. -_- well, i can only hoped that this smart-aleck friend of mine don get cheated by some petshop owner, paying a exorbitant fee for a cross-breed pup.
yesterday, while having steamboat for dinner, someone was acting smart-alecky again. *duh* acting like she really had bought back some top-graded mushrooms that we havent seen before at all. and that we are goons when it comes to eating steamboat. well, that is simply not possible, since i had been having steamboat once a month for almost 12 months last yr...
