lucky's grooming...:)

yesterday went to see 'over the hedge'. quite a cute a movie but overall storyline is a bit dull. the animals were all so cute. esp the part where hammy followed the laserlight. so much like lucky. :) and its kind of weird. weird of the price of the food they sell there. its a rip-off man! (O_o) or shld i say three of us are of stupid nature plus gluttons for buying SO much food from there? afterall, in some people's eyes, we three are deemed and branded STUPID? haha...

after the movie we took lucky to pasir ris park for a walk. oh man, i really cant stand fishing. its kind of scary the way they deal with the fishes. and lucky got so excited with a man dragging his catch up from the pond. he even lick his lips when i say these fishes can be cooked into food. -_-

and today we took lucky for grooming at katong. the groomer has such a cute and small poodle. :) now lucky looks more like a normal yorkie. hehe. the groomer asked some weird questions bout lucky. wonder if its because there's something wrong with my boy....or that he's just TOO small??

we even walked down to the pet bakery to buy biscults for him. dad bought lucky a new blue lead and collar too. with the bell, he will look SO much cooler when going for walks. haha. pictures soon....

qin: haha...think he's also clever on his own lar... my two other students cant make it too leh. rock-bottom grades too. i worry ar...

doggy's barkday

been looking thru some online dogstores and finally found a nice and comfortable bed which seems like a prefect 'barkday' present for lucky. :) its a bit on the costly side. but, best i've seen so far. haha. and there's even a cushion on which lucky can rest his head on! o(>.<)o KAWAII! haha. if the other pet store really don have anything nice beds, i guess this will do for his barkday. haha.

don think there will be any big celebrations for him this year too. peace and quiet will do. afterall, he's indeed getting old. :/

and all this time, his 'problem' keep buggin me. to buy, or find?? oh man. let it be solve quickly!

hungry...

hehe...finally my hard work paid off! ok, to be honest, paid off only by a bit. only one of my students scored AAB for his sa1. but at least there's results. but it really sets me wondering now. is my teaching method wrong or are they just plain lazy? how come there are such extreme results??

just now went library and borrowed two more parts of jimmy spa's 'paradise lost'. hehe, one more book and i'm completed with 'paradise lost'! and picked up another book: dog massage. been flipping thru it. it seems that massaging your pet dog strenthens bonds between dog and owner plus other rewards. cant wait to finish the book and get started 'touching lucky'...haha. and it seems that his way of resting his tiny head on the back of our hands is a way of telling us: hey, give me a massage!

kk, that's all for now. REALLY hungry now....:P

happy mothers' day!

happy mother's day to all mothers in the world! and of coz to my mum. without u there wouldnt even be me. :)

broke again! :( yesterday bought a 'precious moments' cup for mum while out shopping. 'precious moments' stuff are just so cute and sweet. :) and then this morning went down to buy mum another bouquet of flowers for mother's day too. although that's paid by my bro. hehe.(why not when he's damn rich?) of coz, its prefectly alright to spurge(correct?) a bit on this special day to make mum happy. :) sis bought mum a very pretty jewel box and dad even bought a cake for mom. since she nvr got to cut a cake on her bdae. and its kind of fast. the cake was cut and finished just a few hours ago. (^_^)

surfing the web just now for info bout 'the last supper'. i'm practically flying thru the story of 'the da vinci code'. dan brown is an excellent writer. sometimes i just cant bare to put the book down. just kind of get 'hooked'. hehe. and the stuff he wrote in the book, it just all seems so real...now i feel like going paris. haha. ok, rationally, maybe a trip to the cinema would be a better idea. haha. at least its more affordable, and nearer. :)

searching the web for some other stuff too. oh man, minimum order of 500 pieces??!! where am i going to find space for THAT much stuff??

sick...

haiz..today went all the went down to hougang to buy pet milk for my precious. was raining so heavily when i arrived at hougang. think i caught a chill then. had a REALY terrible stomachache after i've boarded the bus back for tampines.

so terrible that we had to cancelled part 2 of our shopping trip at tampines. sis wasnt exactly thrilled...sorry lor. but poor weak and frail me cant help it leh...

qin: no choice lar. at home i call him my 'bao bei' leh. want to be my dog in ur next life not? hehe

my blog moulted!

hehe...new skin! or should i say my blog has moulted! haha..that's the problem with tutoring kids too much. haha. there's problem with my own design. so i logged in to blogskins.com and realise blogskins nowadays are sooo 'artsy'! oh man, wonder when i could get my photoshop program... :(

first time ever since... dono when that i've blogged thrice a day! hehe. think i might blog more in future, with photos included. still haven gotten round in taking a pic of my two new wallet. :P guess that's all... tml going all the way down to hougang to accompany sis shopping plus buy cosi pet's milk for my precious...haha. (plus look at any potential pups!)

kids!!

ah..i guess i finally understand why i hated kids so much. there shall be a corrections now. i only hate kids who act like adults or spoiled brats, or both. unfortunately, these kind of kids exist everywhere i GO. (O_o) but my student was so innocent just now... hehe...

he was doing his test papers and suddenly, maybe out of boredom, asked me if i'm doing something on vesak day. of coz, i reply,'do what?' i know vesak day is a day for buddist, but besides setting animals free (-_-), i REALLY don know absolutely anything else u should do on vesak day...

my student, upon hearing my oh-so-stupid answer, almost went hysterical. he repiled, 'u have to wash the buddlha!!' this was really something new to me...haha. he even advised me to go somewhere in sg where (directly quoting) one can 'press this button where water will shoot out to wash the buddlha'. woo, so high tech! haha. but i did went on to explain to him that i'm a follower of a japan buddhism, whereby one only needs to offer prayers during the japanese cny, which is first of jan every year. also, there is no buddlha statue, just this scripture. i guess at this point he gets all confused. and insisted i go to that place to 'wash the buddlha', saying its for good luck. haha...so i guess my student can be kind of cute and caring when he's not there flaring up. haha...

and i finally bought the da vinci code yesterday! already at chapter 19... but like angels and demons, all those french plus catholic stuff is getting me kind of confuse. ok, i admit, my english is bad...(-_-) and borrowed jimmy spa's 'paradise lost' just now... as usual, so full of meaning.

hai, i do hope lesser, ok, NO animals will be set free tomorrow. after, one shouldnt be kind just tomorrow, but everyday. why not show more LOVE to the stray cats or be a vegetarian if u want to be kind?

haha... today was a fun day. many many thanks to esther! *hugs and kisses* haha. after tuition this morning i quickly rushed home, fed lucky and then went down to orchard to meet esther. she say she's going to take me on the hippobus ride. :) in the end she was late. and i finished flipping thru the books at the book fair at orchard emerald. (0_o) haha... ok, i don really mind waiting for esther. since i'm ALWAYS late when we meet. so sometimes its ok for me to wait for her. hehe.

in the end we had to rush down to suntec to take the hippobus. while waiting for the bus we visited the petshop there. omg, i saw my dream pearl white and mottled hammy! think esther saw her ideal lop ear there too. its kind of sad when the mottled was bought...

we hopped on the bus after that. and we finally reached the balloon. did a bit of shopping before we went onto the balloon. also, thanks esther for my birthday present! :)

the ride on the balloon was ok. nothing much to see. haha. that's sg i guess. but the wind up there was very good. ok, the air was fresh. :)

cant wait for tomorrow's dog show..hehe.

my baby is sick!

starting from monday night, it was a disaster for me, my mum and lucky. -_- took lucky over to grandma's place during labour day for dinner. and i think before he left the greedy little pig ate something that could not be eaten. and so began the chronicles of lucky's diarrhea...

tuesday, 1.33am
i was still up and reading in my room when i heard the toilet's doors in mum's room kept opening and closing. after a while, my room's door opened and mum poked her head in, saying that lucky had pooed and she needed my help in drying him. lucky had not pooed for a few days, and it was relief for me when he finally emptied his bowels. so, i dried him and we all went to bed. :)

tuesday, 5.30am
mum woke me up from my sleep and said lucky had pooed N vomited. what a present to give me... but i just dried him and went back to sleep. thinking that he might have ate the too oily lean pork...

rest of the day.
lucky had a BAD case of diarrhea. we even stopped his food intake. boy was i worried. it was my jie's bdae and i had planned to meet her, pass her her present plus shopped for my sis's present. lucky's diarrhea cleared and so i went to meet my jie...

glad i met her anyway. :) had a wonderful time catching up with each other and it really wonders me why we could chat about anything. while with some people i would literally be a mute. and i bought sis's present. cost me a bomb!! :( but.... as long as my sis like lor. hehe. but still in a fix over mum's bdae present.

it turns out that lucky had diarrhea two more times while i was out. really worried sick then. coz lucky is old, and old dogs tend to get kidney disease. and kidney diease begins with diarrhea!!! and its even more maddening when his usual vet was off yesterday. in the end took him to a vet recommended by jie...

had a long wait at the clinic. the vet was ok. thou i don really agree with her over some things. she took lucky's poo's sample. and luckily it was just food poisoning...*whew*

but she did raise something that set me thinking even till now. oh man, my tots are so messy! wish i have a pensieve...
