its restricted!!!
been a long time since i've blogged. not that i don have anything to write about. i have TONS to write bout. but most of the topics i wanted to write about are way too sensitive to be posted on the world wide web. yes, a blog is supposed to your personal space on the web for you to write your feelings, or blog about other things. BUT, do not forget that at the same time, people will stumble upon your blog, and read the contents. yes, i learned this the hard way, a few years back.
therefore, before posting comments bout other people, please make sure that the posted information are absolutely TRUE first! in worse times, you could even be sued for defamation. yes, that's how serious things are...afterall, its the WEB, not your house.

the hunt for the latex bands
i've been practically been on a week-long hunt for dogs' latex bands. :P its weird that when you don need something, you will always see it while shopping. BUT, when the time comes to when u need the 'something', it just dissappear!
went to all the petshops available in my area. and sad to sad i discovered shocking secrets in two of the petshops i visited...tsk tsk. no way am i patronising them in future...
to cut my long story short, i ordered my latex bands thru the net in the end. and the person was kind enough to give me two nice (and girly) bows for my boy. hehe, cant wait tot try it on him tomorrow. :P but... the latex bands are not what i have in mind. maybe next time i'll have to order the bands myself...plus another nice collar and lead for lucky. :D

happy mid-autum
the haze was so bad this morning, it looks like Genting. having slight running nose, plus lucky cant go down for his morning. of course, dogs don know what haze means, they only know that they are to go for walks, be it rain and shine. so i guess i have to bring him down for a quick walk after this posting.
anyway, the bad weather isnt going to spoil my mood. (^W^) thats becoz i had a FUN day yesterday! :D had dinner at aunt's house and played with candles, lanterns and fireworks after that. well, its MY ideal kind of how mid-autum shld be celebrated: fun and warmth!
the last time i had such great fun, it was bout 6 or 7 years ago. at pasir ris park, with my cousins too...
hope next yr one will be just as fun! :P

of yorkies grooming
time to get a bit organized on yorkies grooming here! :) things i REALLY need to purchase:
- a good grooming brush, CCS (for a more enjoyable grooming session plus lesser hair breakage)
- flaxseed oil/ fish oil (to improve his skin)
- latex bands ( for tying topknots)
and of course, a trip to the vet is a must. :P
the brush is kind of expensive. but i guess its kind of worth it. since, if well taken care of, a CCS brush will NEVER rust. so its going to last me for a LONG time. but... the most troublesome is that there is NO petshops near where i live is a CCS retailer. :/so i have to wait till i'm free before i can really go down to sk to get the brush.
after many days of reading up on flaxseed oil. i'm still kind of confuse. there are so MANY arguments bout adding flaxseed oil as a supplement for dogs! some say that dogs will not be able to breakdown the omega3 found in flaxseed oil while others argued that omega3 is actually harmless, as compared to omega6, found in most fish oil. did some reading up on dogs forums too. and it seems that it still goes down to the individual dog. another thing is, i'm not sure how much to give of a dog of 1.6kg... so i guess i will read up more on flaxseed oil, then consult dr tan, before getting it. :)
