*whew* i've finally added up those finishing touches! really like those little kao-anis. the little devil and the one with plant growing on its head is my favourite. :) oh yes, all those cute characters are not mine and are created painstakenly by someone else. if u really like to put one on your website, scroll down to the 'credits' section to visit their website.
after today, i'm gg on a hiatus. i've finally recieved a new tuition assignment and from now on only my tues afternoon will be free. and i'm supposed to be doing sth on this afternoon too. so, lesser internet time. :( still contemplating if i should give up one tuition assignment thou. if time doesnt permits, no choice. but on monetary terms...hehehe....

a hot summery day
woo-HOO! new blogskin again! hehe. (^_^) spent the whole afternoon doing it. however, there are still bits and pieces of it that are not up yet. have yet added those little decorations (like kao-anis). quite satisfied with this blog skin. but, but, still kind of lacking something when compared to those blog skin makers u see at blogskins.com. its kind of no choice thou, since i don really have a professional photoshop program... :(
was updating my profile list (right side!) and i realise that it seems i still haven read da vinci code nor life of pi. hehe, maybe kind of lazy...:P

the worm that struck terror in my heart....
this few days i've been too busy worrying bout the non-existant heartworm that i even did not have the mood to go online. so, before i begin, what is a heartworm?
the life story of heartworm: well, its evil little life begins on a dog which is being bitten by a mosquito (which is the carrier). the worm (or maybe its the larvae?) will then burrow thru the dog's skin and then travel into the veins and finally to the heart. naturally, affected dogs might die from this diease. an onl fren told me that sg dogs are supposed to be on heartworm preventive tablet when young.
of coz, being a 'gan-joing' spider, i break out in cold sweat when i hear this. thinking in my mind that for the whole 8yrs lucky has nvr been put on heartworm prevention!!! i actually tot i was going to lose lucky. luckily a visit to the vet just now put everything right...whew!
but got to admit i was super-duper nervous just now. esp when dad told me to go to the clinic and register for lucky first. on top of tis, i still have to fake bravery, since dogs can sense fear. dogs have to go for a blood test to see if he's infected with heartworm. and there i was pondering for days how much blood they going to draw for lucky, i saw the vet holding this super big syringe (for lucky). my legs nearly give way! in the end it was only a tiny weeny drop of blood!!! what is wrong with dr tan? cant he just switch to a small syringe to avoid scaring me??
thank goodness he was tested heartworm negative. got to admit, we spend quite a bomb on him..hai. have to take it as using the money to buy assurance. also, no pain no gain. because of this trip we gained sth! :) not going to say more...

Zzzzz
yesterday was a busy and tiring day... woke up early in the morning for tomb sweeping. it was considered an alright event. didnt get snide remarks. except that i was kind of grouchy when i missed my macdonald's breakfast PLUS i have to be crammed like sardines in the car all the way to vernon park.
after that we went back to bendemeer for lunch. and there we reminisce how nice it was in the past, back at the 'lao dian'. hehe. and marvelled at the fact that how our butt seems to have grown bigger! boy, everything at the shop is practically unchanged, the tiling, the counter...
after lunch we rushed back home to take lucky for his yorkie gathering. and there lucky was, acting like a pill. and even proceeded to sleeping with his butt facing the rest. (-_-) my dog really LACKS socialising skills like ME! duh...

ermmmm
it seems that i'm spending lesser time blogging... trying VERY hard to cut off my online time and devote it offline, doing more useful things. like spending more time with lucky. :) cant wait for the yorkie gathering this coming sunday. just hope lucky won mess this event..
borrowed out this book bout holistic healing for animals... very useful. thru this book i learn to communicate with lucky not only by voice and touching, but also thru the mind. yes, we are talking bout telepathy here!! haha. this is only day2 of trying. got to admit my inner mind is kind of slow. being 'dormant' for 20yrs and now starting to 'wake'! guess will be hard. but practising on my inner mind focusing will help me to 'talk' to lucky and also to concentrate better on more tihngs. haha, talking a bit like professer tralawney here....
hmm, this talking bout telepathy seems like rubbish. but, but, first step to mind communication: believe i can! haha. guess this is probably more for people like me...wanting to get close to dogs and 'feel' like them....
