ah..i guess i finally understand why i hated kids so much. there shall be a corrections now. i only hate kids who act like adults or spoiled brats, or both. unfortunately, these kind of kids exist everywhere i GO. (O_o) but my student was so innocent just now... hehe...
he was doing his test papers and suddenly, maybe out of boredom, asked me if i'm doing something on vesak day. of coz, i reply,'do what?' i know vesak day is a day for buddist, but besides setting animals free (-_-), i REALLY don know absolutely anything else u should do on vesak day...
my student, upon hearing my oh-so-stupid answer, almost went hysterical. he repiled, 'u have to wash the buddlha!!' this was really something new to me...haha. he even advised me to go somewhere in sg where (directly quoting) one can 'press this button where water will shoot out to wash the buddlha'. woo, so high tech! haha. but i did went on to explain to him that i'm a follower of a japan buddhism, whereby one only needs to offer prayers during the japanese cny, which is first of jan every year. also, there is no buddlha statue, just this scripture. i guess at this point he gets all confused. and insisted i go to that place to 'wash the buddlha', saying its for good luck. haha...so i guess my student can be kind of cute and caring when he's not there flaring up. haha...
and i finally bought the da vinci code yesterday! already at chapter 19... but like angels and demons, all those french plus catholic stuff is getting me kind of confuse. ok, i admit, my english is bad...(-_-) and borrowed jimmy spa's 'paradise lost' just now... as usual, so full of meaning.
hai, i do hope lesser, ok, NO animals will be set free tomorrow. after, one shouldnt be kind just tomorrow, but everyday. why not show more LOVE to the stray cats or be a vegetarian if u want to be kind?
