my da gu
my da gu~ someone who wears really weird clothes, talks so loudly in public that every passer-by will stare and eats like a hungry pig in a restaurant. BUT she is also someone who willingly treats her five nieces and nephews to a movie, orders a LOT of food in a restaurant for them to eat and also buys them stuff generously. so do u think i shld like or dislike my da gu? haha.
after yesterday trip to the movie with da gu i'm really starting to change my perspective bout her...she isnt as bad as i thot, but honest speaking, she does embarasses us sometimes. :P
she made us get up soooo early(for me) yesterday to meet at 9.30am to catch the 10.45am show of 'aeon flux'. actually that wasnt such a bad movie as i initially thot it was. the female lead is such a great leaper in the movie man. can leap SOOO far. haha. imagine the yr 2415 where things such as modification of legs into hands (yucks!) could be easily done. technology is so advance then, yet the earth's population is almost wiped due to a virus...and the only medicine which could save the remaining population had left them sterile. soooo, the scientists resorted to cloning! yup, the part bout the cloning is kind of old plot. and the overall plot is kind of short. when u realise the secret, its almost over. but i really admire the parts where they show new gadgets... so cool. but the part when the mohicians scatch a bit of their skin till their flesh comes out so they can 'meet' their head is disgusting! yeech! but the movie's ending is meaningful where the aeon say that it doesnt matter how many times we live, but is to live ONCE, and live with meaning and hope, is nice and meaningful.
and after the movie we went swensens for lunch. da gu ordered so much food for us that i actually find swensens food disgusting! first time ever! haha...when we finished we went to shop around. then we (meaning me and my sis) went kind of mad when we went bugis street. haha. feel kind of bad, we spent so much money of da gu's! :P
as if not tired enough, my sis even suggest gg grandma's place play majong! urgh... i hate majong now. i don play for fun, i play to entertain my mum and grandma....
